MACON LEMON LAW ATTORNEYS

Protecting GA Consumers from Dangerous Vehicles

At some point, we have all needed maintenance on our cars. Even the most sturdily-built machines will occasionally need repairs eventually. But there are times that consumers purchase or lease a new vehicle that was so poorly manufactured or is so unsafe that it can only be called a “lemon.” Fortunately, consumers in Georgia are protected by the state’s Lemon Law. Our Macon lemon law attorneys are proud to help ensure your rights are protected!

What is Georgia’s Lemon Law?

The Lemon Law provides consumers with the ability to require the manufacturer to repair their vehicle. If the vehicle is ultimately not repaired, the consumer can demand that the manufacturer replace or repurchase the car. Although this law protects car buyers in Georgia, the legal process can be complicated, and consumers have a limited window in which to file a claim.

The Macon Consumer Law team at Cooper, Barton & Cooper has experience in working through the complexities and requirements of the Georgia Lemon Law in order to protect clients’ safety and pocketbooks.

If you have recently purchased or leased a new vehicle and believe it is may be a lemon, contact us today at (478) 202-7050 to discuss your legal rights and options.

    "Excellent Service On Several Matters"
Devlin has handled our family's business for several years. He has helped us restructure our corporations, prepared our wills, and even probated by husband's estate for me. He is always quick to return my phone calls, and he has a knack for easily explaining complex legal things so that it is easy to understand. My family has been lucky to use him for several matters.

    "Great Litigator, Excellent Corporate Adviser"
We have employed Devlin as our corporate counsel for several years. During that time, he has helped us to set up several subsidiaries of our primary corporation. He has also served as our litigation counsel, defending us in courts throughout Georgia. While aggressive in Court, Devlin never fails to maintain high professional standards and act as a Southern gentleman. He is quick to respond to threats to our business, and he never fails to quickly return our calls and emails, no matter the time or whatever else he may be immersed in at the time we reach out to him. We cannot more highly recommend Devlin.

    "Satisfied client"
I hired Ken Barton to help me through a pretty significant legal dispute that I experienced. Throughout the litigation, Ken communicated well with me and was very responsive, and I could tell that he really cared about my case. We got a decent outcome from the case, and I was able to move on with my life. I hope that I won’t need his services in the future, but I would definitely hire him again.

    "Excellent one on one attorney."
Mr. Barton helped me to realize when to press on and when we would be up against “legal” ineptness of those who can make mistakes of fact without impunity to themselves. Excellent one on one attorney. Thanks.
